How do I set custom filter for the 660x using MAX tasks and DAQmx VI´s?

I´m have a NI 6602 to count (10K to 20KHz) edges with an external (0,1 to 1 Hz) gate and I want to use the custom filter to avoid noise. How do I set custom filter for the 660x using MAX tasks and DAQmx VI´s? And another question:  is it possible to set different filters to the source and gate signals?
