How to generate a TTL pulse whose frequency should be N times slower than a input TTL pulse (DAQ NI USB 6259)

I have an DAQ NI USB 6259.

I receive input TTL pulses with freq 25 Hz. I would like to create an output pulse 5 times slower than the input pulse. Is this possbile to achieve?

Thanks

Yes, absolutely.  Here's an example to get you started.

(One small note: when you divide by an odd number like 5, this method won't produce a square wave out with exactly 50% duty cycle.  In many (most?) apps, this isn't really a concern because only the rising OR falling edge really matters.  But just in case, I wanted to mention it.)

ALERT! LabVIEW's subscription-only policy came to an end (finally!). Unfortunately, pricing favors the captured and committed over new adopters -- so tread carefully.
