Measure pulse width of a 100us to 30 ms pulse with cfp 502

Two questions:

1) Below 3 ms the 32 khz internal clock starts to give erroneous results.  Im using the measure pw.vi example.  In spec sheet, minium pulse of 10 us is listed. 

2) Also trying to measure p.w. of a non fixed frequency signal, variable high time of 1-36 ms with a constant 65 ms down time.  Any suggestions?

2.  For measuring the non-fixed frequency signal, I would try measuring the frequency of the entire pulse and then subtracting the constant down time.
