PCI-6602, Exception Error with newer versions of NI-DAQ

I created an application with Labview 5.1.1 and NI-DAQ 6.5.1 which configures several counters on several PCI-6602 boards. It works fine. When I upgraded NI-DAQ to version 6.7 or 6.8, the program works fine the first time I configure my counters. However, if I try to reset the counters or the devices, I get a blue screen exception error for every counter I configured. By pressing 'Enter' at each blue screen, I am able to continue normally. I just upgraded to Labview 6i, and it has the same behavior, although I have not been able to get my program to work in LV 6i with NI-DAQ 6.5.1.

I found the problem. I had my VI's priority set to 'highest(time critical)'. If I change the priority setting, everything works great.
