Problem: Read a Counter-Signal with PXI-6133

I want to read a TTL-signal at the PXI-6133 at PFI0 or CTR0. In the MAX at the Testpanel > Counter I/O it works fine but not with any example. In the example you can only decide between CTR0 or CTR1 as an input. But both are output-lines. So what's wrong? I want only count a TTL - signal (5V) on rising edge.

It is correct that you only have the choice between ctr0 and ctr1, but every counter has three lines

Source, Gate and Out.

If you want to generate a PWM then is the signal on the out-line available...

If you want to count digital events then you have to connect the wire to the source-line.

Try the example "Count Digital Events.vi" (C:\Programme\National Instruments\LabVIEW7.x\examples\DAQmx\Counter\Count Digital Events.llb)
