I have a signal from a photo multiplier tube . I would like to know what type of device I should use as an interface so that I can count the signal from photo multiplier tube using pci-6602 counter

What type of signal is this "photo mutiplier tub" emitting? Is it a pulse train? 0-5 volts? An analog signal? Greater than 0-5 volts?
