can the NI 6601 work with LabVIEW RTX?

I found out the my encoder application is having problems with the multi-therading of windows XP, I need to read the counter faster to determine the real position of my scanner, one easy solution........ move to LabVIEW real time!........... but is the NI 6601 counter suported by the RTX?

any idea  is welcome.

Hi,

Currently, the 6601 or DAQmx is not supported under RTX. You will need to look at the Real Time ETS in order to use NI-DAQmx and the 6601 under real time.

However, remember that real time doesn't necessarily mean real fast.
