Did you mean:

get board clock directly from card

Hi

I don't know if this is the right board, but here it goes:

Is there any fast way to get the main clock signal from a daqmx device (pci 6229 in my case) to a physical output, so I can use it in some external circuitry?

I've been researching about it but it has to pass throu the counter, however I don't want that to delay e signal (besides i have no counters avialble since i'm using those for another task)

any thoughts?

thanks

Hi Zain Zeus, you can export the signal trough a PFI Line in this KB its explained with more detail.

To verify that the Pulse is getting out you can confirm it reading it with one of the counters, the pulse might be to fast for the AI to read it.

This link might be useful.
