hardware timing using 6008

Hi all,

I wrote labview codes to generate a function that i want to use to control some automated valves. I am using NI 6008. However, when i measure the output function using an oscilloscope, i get a slightly different period. Now my question is: Is it possible to do what am doing using 6008? If yes,wat is the trick? If no, what is the suitable device to use?

I can’t say whether or not your device will work from the information provided, but if the output is at a different frequency than what you have it set to you might be pushing your device past its specs. Please look at the manual below and make sure you are within specs for the device. What is your period set to and how much is it off by? Can you be more specific on what exactly is going on? Is your period always off, or when you have multiple valves connecter, or when running at different rates? If you can, please post a screenshot of your code.
