synchronized retriggerable finite pulse train

Hi there,

 

I'd like to know how many counters are needed in 6602 to

generate two synchronized retriggerable finite pulse trains with different initial delay times.

 

I know that two counters are required to get a retriggerable finite pulse train, so

at least 2x2 = 4 counters will be used, let's say ctr2 (continuous), ctr3 (gate) for one train

and ctr4(continuous), ctr5(gate) for the other.

 

Is it fine to synchronize the two counters with each other, which generate continous pulse trains?

(I mean trigger ctr4 with ctr2).

 

If there is any other better way, please let me know.

Hi

 

Usually you will need two counters when the frequency is high. In what frequency will you be working?

 

Apart from that it looks like your solution it’s ok, if it is possible try to attach an image.
