Regarding combining input and output task

Hello Everyone,

I ma new to the NI environment and I was trying to read a signal from an input task in DAQExpress and then based on the input signal generate an output signal. However I am not able to combine both the components. I am able to generate output and read input separately.

Is it even possible with DAQExpress or do I have to move to LabView
