DasyLab. Modules, Black Box, Navigator frame doesn't appear when app runs

Hello,

I have version 11 or DasyLab and am running Windows 7 Pro.  When I launch DasyLab (as an Administrator) the Modules, Black Box and Navigaor frame briefly appears as long as the splash screen is loading DLL's.  Once DLL's are loaded the Modules, Black Box and Navigaor frame goes away.

I try pressing ctrl+M but to no avail.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Alan Jones

Did you try to running not as an administrator?

Are you a local administrator?

Also, may I suggest to download Version 13 and see if it worsks that way?

If you go to the view menu ... can you enable those panes?

If not, try editing the DASYLab.INI Configuration file, and delete the [Panes] section (only that section).

The INI file is in the Public User Document folder

C:\Users\Public\Documents\DASYLab\13.0.0\eng

I am local admin on my machine.  I have run as a normal user and as Administrator with the same result.

I have no View menu option.  It looks like our IT group bungled the install!  I removed the Panes section from DASYLab.ini but that didn't resolve the problem.  I'm going to get our IT group to reinstall and see how that goes.

Many thanks,

Alan... do help-report... is this a runtime version? If so, the display is correct.

CJ,

It is a runtime version.  11.00.02.  Was this an installation option?  Do i need to reinstall or can i switch with a command line option?

Thanks,

10-4, CJ.

I'll see what our IT guys have up their sleves.  We may have to buy additional licenses.
