IOtech (www.iotech.com) might be able to assist you with this question. I have hand installed and tested the Datashuttle with V8 and V9, but, officially, support was dropped several years ago when IOtech discontinued the product line. There is a download on their software section for the DASYLab drivers. I question whether it will work with V10, as DASYLab V10 changed the rules about where files are stored.
This is from the readme included with that file:
Since IOtech now considers the Data Shuttle and
DynaRes products to be obsolete, we no longer include the drivers for those
products on the DASYLab CD, starting with DASYLab v.9. However, customers can
download them from our Outgoing Directory and install them on their computer
after they install DASYLab. The driver files are stored in the APPS folder in
the Outgoing Directory in a ZIP file called "DASY_STI_Driver.zip".
There are a bunch of problems with XP and the Datashuttle, most notably that XP defaults to assigning no IRQ to the parallel port. You'll have to turn that on for anything to work.
There are many good alternatives available today that don't require a parallel port, notably the excellent USB devices available from NI, IOtech and Measurement Computing.
Good luck to you!
Measurement Computing (MCC) has free technical support. Visit
www.mccdaq.com and click on the "Support" tab for all support options, including DASYLab.
