Does DASYLab support the USB DAQ devices?

My company is interested in getting a USB DAQ device that is supported by DASYLab. I was wondering if anyone knew if the new NI USB DAQ devices support DASYLab?

Hello,

if you work with DASYLab 8.0 then you have following options to use a USB DAQ device under DASYLab:

1. USB low cost devices from NI, NI-DAQmx API version 7.5, DASYLab NI-DAQmx driver
It is not possible to use these devices with DASYLab because an internal problem in NI-DAQmx API 7.5 produces a crash in DASYLab. A bugfix for this problem is under construction, a release date is unknown.

2. USB devices from www.mccdaq.com, InstaCal 5.57, DASYLab MCC-DAQ driver
This driver is available and support all features from USB devices.

3. USB device U12 from www.labjack.com, Setup V118D, DASYLab MLABJACK driver
www.mjh-software.de of Germany sells DASYLab drivers for the LabJack U12.

4. USB devices from www.iotech.com, please contact the manufactor for DASYLab driver.

5. USB devices from www.bmc.de, please contact the manufactor for DASYLab driver.

The release of DASYLab V9 in October 2005 resolved the issue with low-cost NI-DAQmx USB products. They should all work correctly with current releases of NI-DAQmx. NOTE: DASYLab does not support NI-DAQmx BASE, only NI-DAQmx V7.5 and V8.0.

There is an update for DASYLab V8 customers at www.dasylab.com (registration required). Both DASYLab V8.00.04 and the updated NI-DAQmx driver DLL is required.
