Frequency measurement Dasylab 9

I have a TTl level digital signal ranging from 300Hz to 22000Hz, changing in freq as a function of current flow at a remote sensor (the sensor has a fibre optic output, thus the string of pulses in varying freqs arriving at the PC, the fibre to electrical conversion is done just before the PC).  I have Dasylab and am new to it.  Im trying to measure the frequency of the signal and convert 300 - 22000Hz back into what the remote sensor is seeing which is 0 - 25mA.  In a nutshell a square wave from 300 to 22000Hz coming in on an IOTech board needs to change and scale into 0 to 25mA on a a visual display.  There seems to be many ways of doing this on DasyLab - but the help menus and tutorial dont cover it too well - whats the easiest way?  I can probably look after the relay output functions once I have the freq count and conversion end running.

If you're using the Counter Input, then set it to read frequency.
Then using the Scaling module to scale the frequency back to Volts using the 2-points parameters.

Sounds like a straightforward scaling, if it's linear.
