Thank you all for the help. I was able to get the worksheet up and running at the required speed.

I ended up using 5000Hz with 100 sample/block .

Have one more question.

Being the digital sub system is slow on this device,what would be the best way to get a signal out to a relay

in real time without having speed issues.  Is there a way of using the analog system to perform this operation?

You could try it. Simply output 5V to the Analog Output. That was Jeff's suggestion.
