I'm trying to read 8 external sensors with each 3 values over RS 485 and the dasylabRS232
input module. The baudrate is 9600 and I'm reading all the 24 values
every 2 seconds. I have one RS-master and 7 slaves. That works well,
but when one sensors hangs (cable error or loss of power supply) all
inputs are blocked. The blockade keeps if all moduls are anwsering
again. The error handling is set on "restart on timeout", but doesn't
that change anything; same result with an action module resetting the
input buffer of the rs input module on timeout. When I restart the worksheet everything is fine again.
My question is, if there is any possibility to reset the the rs232 input out of Dasylab (version 10)?
