In REPORT, you have the option of using a "Joint x-channel", which allows REPORT to use the x-channel of the first curve as the x-channel for all other curves in a 2D axis system.
I would like this exact same functionality in VIEW.
VIEW supports joined x-channels as well. If you drop the x-channel on the header of the column for x-channels, the channel you drop get's used as the x-channel for all curves. That works in REPORT as well. I understand this is not exactly what you asked for, but I was wondering whether it serves the purpose for you.
Thank you, I didn't know about this feature, it is helpful! It seems a bit "hidden" though and definitely not intuitive, and I think a similar checkbox like REPORT has would be more clear for most users.

I would like this request to get put back into the "under consideration" heading. I would disagree that this feature is already implemented. The request was to add a checkbox similar to REPORT. There is a somewhat related way to get a somewhat similar functionality, but it is still not the checkbox as displayed in REPORT. Simplification and commonality between REPORT and VIEW is a worthwhile endeavor that would significantly speed up the learning curve of using DIAdem for new users.
