Is there a way to tell the report layout a graph by Name of the channel only and not Index or Number and channel name?
For example I use one graph that contains channels from different groups and the data that I load is not always the same channels or lengths and there for there are times when I have to go into the Display option and rechoose the parameters I want to display instead of the report knowing just the channel name and automatically loading it into the report. This may be something simple that I am missing.

Hi J,
This is a feature, called "Curve Expansion", but it's not obvious that it's there. You must do several things just right in order to get this to work. First, you must go to the REPORT layout parameters configuration dialog and click on the "Curve Expansion" button and check the "Expand curves" checkbox (click OK on your way out of the dialogs). Then you need to double-click on the graph and enter just the channel name in the curve congfiguration-- no group information at all. If you're plotting an XY curve, then you have to do this for both the X channel reference and the Y channel reference. Then there must be a channel in more than one group that has exactly that name that you used in the curve configuration. If you're plotting an XY curve, then the X channel and Y channel used for each curve should be in the same group to make sure the order holds up correctly.
