Hi,
in our company we installed new licences for Diadem 2020 and we started experience problems.
If we run for example dialog in Analysis panel for function Integrate(basically all functions), we got the dialog, preview works fine, choosing channels as well, but we got nonstop loading cursor over the dialog and when we click CALCULATE button, nothing happens.
This happens in Diadem 2017, but not in Diadem 2019 where it works still fine like before updating the licence
Does enyone experience same problems?
...the same functions running through Script panel works fine

Hi Lukas,
This problem description is unknown to me, either in DIAdem 2017 or DIAdem 2020. I just tried clicking the "Calculate" button in the "Integrate" ANALYSIS dialog, using the default "Example.tdm" data set, and it worked fine for me in DIAdem 2020.
What happens when you try that with the default Example.tdm data set in DIAdem 2020, using X=Time and Y=Speed?

Hi Likas,
At times of DIAdem 2015 and possibly also DIAdem 2017 (without service pack) we did not ship the VBS engine together with DIAdem, because the engine from the OS was fine. With an update of the OS a new – and unfortunately – not correct working VBS engine was installed and cause the errors.
Please check that your DIAdem 2017 has no file named “VBScript.DLL” in the program folder. If so, copy the “VBScript.DLL” from your DIAdem 2019 or 2020 into the DIAdem 2017 program folder.
This should solve the problem.
Greetings

Hi,
you are the boss 🙂 i really didnt have the file in 2017 install folder, so i copied it from 2019, restarted Diadem and the bug is gone and the calculate function works fine. I tested it on another colleague computer and same result, problem solved.
Thanks for solution

Hi guys,
currently I have the same problem with the calculator with my Diadem2017. I have only the 2017 Version of Diadem installed and my calculator doesn't work. I already reinstalled Diadem but I have still the same problem. Do you have any ideas what I could do?
Thanks!
Steffen
