Has anyone developed a Smith Chart plot in DIAdem?

Jim,

Do you have LabVIEW in addition to DIAdem?  If so, there is a Smith Plot.vi that you can input different Smith Chart parameters and it outputs a picture of the Smith Plot.  You could use the power of this vi to create your plots by creating a DIAdem Script that calls the VI and then put the picture in a report.  For more information on calling VIs from DIAdem, check out the Knowledge Base found here as well as the Application Note that is linked from the KB. 

I'm still looking into ways to possibly create these plots directly from DIAdem, but so far, my searching has come up empty.  I will definitely repost if I find something.

Hi Jeff,

DIAdem 2012 still does not have a Smith chart.  That may eventually come, but it's not slated for the DIAdem 2014 release.

Yeah, I'd pursue the Smith image import option-- let us know if you need help importing images to REPORT.
