Creating ATF files from a c++ application

Our customer has requested that we generate results files from our test system in ATF format, so they can be imported in to DIAdem. Are there any utilities for generating these files?
Also are there are utilities that will allow us to read the ATF file in to our system.

You can find information about the ATF (ASAM Transport Format) at this web site:

Once you are there, click on the link for "Chapter 5, ATF 1.4.1" and you will see a PDF with technical descriptions of the relevant ASAM specifications.
