Two quick questions:
WHY CAN I CUT ALL CHANNELS IN A FILE FROM THE TOP LEVEL IN THE DATA PORTAL?
WHY CAN'T I UNDO THE CUT?
Forgive me for yelling; that was extremely frustrating.
Was trying to add a group to a file in the data portal and accidently hit "Cut Channels," thus removing 53 groups worth of channels. Why in the world would anyone ever want to cut all Level 3 objects from Level 1? Can I turn this option off at the top level?

Hi testingHotAir,
I had never noticed that particular Root menu item before. I played around with it after your /rant, and the only use I can imagine making of it is to move all channels from the Data Portal into a new group. I'm sorry it tripped you up. Probably there's another customer out there who couldn't imagine DIAdem without that menu, so I doubt R&D will go for the idea of removing it.
Regarding Undo for actions in the Data Portal, I would like to see that also-- Undo in various spots in DIAdem figures prominently in the suggestions customers have entered at our DIAdemIdeas site. I am still hopeful that will one day appear.
