DIAdem USB Stability Issue

Hello,

I have noticed that DIAdem crashes during an unusual circumstance.  

When I have external data on a USB storage device I open / load it to the data portal by double clicking on it.

Usually I either save or clear the data portal before removing the USB device but sometimes I forget to do so and when I try to clear the data portal after I have removed the USB storage device DIAdem crashes. 

To my knowledge this occurs every time this situation is encountered.

Has anyone else noticed this? 

I am using DIAdem 2012 on win 7 OS 64bit

can you give me some more info about the issue.

• Which kind of file TDM/TDMS/CSV/...?
• How big are the files. (In case of tdm the tdx file)
• Just drag the USB stick without removing it I assume?
• Can you share a file that shows ths behavior?

Using TDMS files format

files are about 100 MB but I believe this doesn't matter it crashes no matter what the size.

Yes, the USB drive is simply removed without releasing it.

File size is very large and I cannot add as attachment

Got it. We are able to reproduce and will fix it in a future version of tdms.
