Same Problem

 

Reboot, Same problem.

 

Run as Admin, Same problem

 

Anyone find a solution yet?

On starting the DIAdem after a long stop it is opening and then after closing the same, it is not opening again. Then I restarted the system and as soon as I enter the password I opened the DIAdem then it is opening again. This is a temporary solution only. Just try it.

Hallo,

 

I have the same problem with DIAdem2020 at W10 64bit.

DIAdem2017 and DIAdem2019SP1 running without any problem.

DIAdem2020 cashes at splasch screen.

 

The systemlog shows severals entrys:

Hi FranzS and others,

 

I ran the repeated problem you are all having by R&D, including the error dump that FranzS listed, and their reaction was twofold:

 

1) Please try to repair the DIAdem installation from the NI package manager, at least for the last few versions of DIAdem that were installed with the package manager.  R&D wants to know if that doesn't help.

 

2) Did any of you install the DIAdem 2020 Beta on the same computer that is now failing to launch DIAdem?  There was a known incompatibility between DIAdem 2020 Beta and DIAdem 2020 released (not sure about older DIAdem versions).  Specific instructions were included in the DIAdem 2020 Beta download to use only a virtual machine or a computer that would not be used for NI software afterward.

Good Morning Brad,

I have already done several investigations.

  • I have already tried to repair the installation.I also uninstall and reinstall the Software. Also I tried to use the German and the English version.
  • I have not installed the DIAdem2020 Beta Version on the effected machines.
  • I installed the SW on two VM’s (W10 Enterprise 64bit V1809). One with Antivirus SW (Symantec Endpoint Protection) and one without Virus Protection. In Both cases DIAdem2020 runs without problem. On the VM with the Virus Protection there are several LabVIEW (2019 SP1) Applications installed.
  • I Installed the Software on two more real machines (W10 Enterprise 64bit V1809). On one machine, the Start vails with the previously posted log event. On the other machine, DOAdem2020 runs with no problem.

All Computers and VM’s have the same Operating System as it was installed by SCCM Fled management.

I am actually not able to say what are the differences between the Computers where DIAdem2020 runs without problems and the Computers where the start of DIAdem2020 fails.

Hallo,

 

I have already don an update to DIAdem2020 SP1.

The problems are still there.

DIAdem 2020 SP1 crashes at startup.

HI Brad,

 

I am also having problem starting DIAdem. Till yesterday DIAdem installed in my PC worked fine , but today morning I'm not able to start it.

I did not made any changes in system or diadem too.

Hallo to all,

 

the NI-Support has solved my problem.

It seems, in my case, that some DLLs are not correctly registered during the installation process.

 

Start CMD as Admin:

  • cd C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 2020
  • where regsvr32.exe

If the Response is “C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe” then

 

  • "%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\regsvr32.exe" "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 2020\DataFinder_GUI.dll"
  • "%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\regsvr32.exe" "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\DIAdem 2020\DataStoreElements_GUI.dll"

I hope this will also help other peoples who have the start problem with DIAdem

Maybe I would try to uninstall the package from the NI Package Manager (Visit インスタ 動画 保存) and run again the installation from the NI Package Manager. For your first installation
