Does anyone know if licenses are transferable? Also, where would I do best to sell my license to DIAdem?

I recently won a DIAdem license, and I have no real use for it. I would like to sell it. If you have any great ideas on how, or if, I can do this successfully let me know.

Below is an extract from the DIAdem license agreement that states the terms under which you may transfer a license of DIAdem.

To verify that you have a legal license of DIAdem you can transfer, you can email me your DIAdem Serial Number and I will verify it for you.

Whoever you transfer the license to will have to agree to the terms of the license agreement before activating the product.

From the DIAdem license agreement:

Transfer. If you have a single seat license or if the SOFTWARE is Multiple Access Software, you may transfer the SOFTWARE to a third party provided that you notify NI in writing of such transfer (including the name and location of such third party), such third party accepts the terms and c
onditions of this Agreement, and after such transfer you do not retain any copies of the SOFTWARE (including all Upgrades that you may have received) nor retain any of the written materials accompanying the SOFTWARE. NI may, in its discretion, charge you a fee for the transfer of the SOFTWARE. If you have a multiple seat license, a concurrent use license, an academic license, a student edition license, a debug license, or an evaluation license, the license is non-transferable and you may not distribute or otherwise provide the SOFTWARE to any third party or (with respect to a multiple seat license or concurrent use license) to any of your sites or facilities not expressly identified in the applicable documents from NI.


As to where and how to sell the license, I really don't have a good idea.

I ask if there is a Diadem license form or method, in order to permit to distribute Diadem Installer to third part (my customer) with the installer of my .vi application?

Hello Lesterino,

You can create an installer that installs both DIAdem and your LabVIEW executable. DIAdem will run on your customers computer for 30 days in evaluation mode before they will have to decide whether they want to purchase a license. You can also purchase a license for your customer and provide it to them.

All Scripts and layouts you have created will work with a DIAdem BASE license, even if features of DIAdem Advanced or Professional are used in your DIAdem application.
