The "eTime" data type for a DirectAccessChannel in a VBScript DataPlugin is for efficiently interpreting datetime strings, usually all in one column, from ASCII data files. You fill the File.Formatter.TimeFormat property with the datetime string representation to use ("DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss"), then any "eTime" channels get converted from datetime strings to datetime values using that datetime format.
