Hi All,
Starting to use Diadem. I have got time domain vibration data and I am trying to do partial waveform analysis on that. I want to analyse data by scrolling through time-domain and looking at the Corresponding FFT for that section. However unable to to do. Its just calculating FFT for whole window and I dont know how to scroll through time domain and and FFT simulataneously. I have done this with other software before.
Any help would be great.

Hello Ahfa,
I believe the best tool to do this is the Joint Time-Frequency 2-D plots. The option in the forum and wikipedia site below will explain how to create a Joint Time-Frequency plot and how one is created. I hope that answers your question and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

As I side note I created a Joint-Time frequency plot recently. this code seems to do exactly what you want, but it would be hard for someone else to jump in and modify the code.

Hi Ahfa,
In addition to the suggested Joint Time Frequency tool suggested above, you might appreciate the attached application, assuming your data channels are waveforms.
