How do you view only the max and min data points on a 2d plot?

I need to display max and min values only for a "peak/valley" type data acqusition. I was able to tag the data points but I can not figure out how to delete the lines that connect the data points?

I guess you choose the display type "line and points". Then  you may simply choose the line type or color as "none". You can select a differnt color or line type for the points.
