Is there a VIEWER for DIADEM

We currently have a MACRO based "VIEWER" in EXCEL that is template based for loading multiple datasets(10).  Very cumbersome and slow and requires some techical skills.

We are looking for something that is more drag and drop and will allow dynamic viewing of the data plots (cursor control).  DIAdem certainly fits this bill.

Is there a VIEWER ONLY version of DIAdem? 

Our reason for this would partially be to save costs of a full version for the dozens of people wanting VIEW but to also keep the interface to a basic format that is easy to manipulate cursors on the plots.

Hello Tweedy,

There is no "VIEW" only version of DIAdem per se. The closest thing to a VIEW only version of DIAdem is the DIAdem Base Edition, which offers the NAVIGATOR and VIEW functionality along with a few other features (an overview is here: https://www.ni.com/en/shop/data-acquisition-and-control/application-software-for-data-acquisition-an... under the "Compare Features" heading).

The DIAdem user interface can be customized to only show a reduced number of features when DIAdem is started. The other features would still be available, but the icons would be hidden. That allows companies to create user or application specific versions of DIAdem (i.e. to make things easier to use). I can probably create a VIEW and NAVIGATOR only version of DIAdem in an hour or two as an example.

As to the "cost" part of your question, if you have "dozens of people" who want to use a viewer, you should contact me or your local NI sales engineer directly to discuss pricing. "Dozens" of licenses are usually not purchased at list price, and that's something we should discuss.
