Is it possible to put an Logarithmic Inverted Scale in a report ?

Hi zebulonbg,

Please provide more information.  Are you talking about the X axis, the Y axis, or both?  Are you talking about a 2D graph or a 3D graph?  Please descibe in more detail what you would like the axis to look like-- what would be the starting value, the ending value, and the tick line values.  Ideally, you would attach a picture of the graph you want and a copy of your data set.

I just want to plot in a 2D Graph a curve and to have on the Y-axis a logarithmic scale and to have the maximum of the Y-axis at the bottom and the minimum at the top of the Y-axis. This is very useful when you have to plot a profile of temperature with the pressure on the Y-axis (example from 1000 to 10 hPa on the Y-axis1).

Below, this is an example (plot with LabView)

In advance, Thank you

Hi zebulonbg,

Thank you, it is now very clear what you want to achieve.  I think we're going to have to get creative to do this in DIAdem-- options I can think of right away include a 3D graph, the Channel Calculator, or Curve Transformations.  Would you be willing to post the data set behind that LabVIEW graph so that I can play with various graphing options and see which one works the best with the smallest effort?

You can find data in the attach file. Thank you very much.

First column: pressure

Second column: temperature

Hi zebulonbg,

Sorry for the delay, I was sick last week after the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US.  I created a 3D REPORT layout that displays your data the way you requested.  The first sheet is autoscaled, and the second sheet is manually scaled to be exactly what the LabVIEW graph showed that you posted.

Ask if you have additional questions,

Thank You very much for your solution. It works very well. I just have the demo version of Diadem 11, but I make the same thing with Diadem 9.1
