MDF Automatic Linear Mapping Importer

Hello

I have tried to automaticaly convert numberic channels to waveform channels using the MDF importer instructsions listed in the link http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B59AB704BB0604178625749600395FCB 

I am finding that the importation linear map works with one level of DIAdem but not with another.

I was able to get the MDF importer linear map to work with my 2014 Advanced Edition of DIAdem but not on my 2014 Base edition. 

Is there any difference between the two that may cause this error?

Hi Tim,

I am unaware of a restriction in DIAdem Base that would affect use of UserCommands to automatically apply linear mapping to the freshly loaded MDF channels.

What happens exactly in DIAdem Base when it "doesn't work"?

Hey Brad

Thanks for getting back to me.

When it doesn't work it simply loads the data in a tradition format, with a tonne of groups and time channels and data channels separated into each individual groups.

I am aware that I need to re select  "Linear Mapping On" everytime we start a new DIAdem session.
