Multiple license activation on same machine

Hi all,

we received machine-locked licenses for DIAdem 2019.

The testing system we are using these licenses on is currently used for two versions of another software, which we are testing in conjunction with DIAdem.

One software state reflects the actual customer installation, the other contains for future releases, which the customer might adopt to soon.

We switch between those two states using backups of the machine.

The question is, can the same machine-locked license be used for two separate activations on the same machine to fulfill this use case?

Hello,

As I understood from the description you want multiple licenses to run multiple instances of the same application in only one computer.

Although they are running multiple instances of the same application, in the background, is just one installation using the same runtime engine. So, as the Understanding NI Software Policies documentation says, only one deployment license is needed per computer.
