Hello,
Lately I've had trouble posting message to this site because of highlighted error messages. The most recent was a warning that the message should not exceed 10,000 characters. My message was less than a few hundred.
It had some autosequence code copied into the message, which was coloured and formatted as it appears in DIAdem. When I changed the whole message (code and my text) to the same font and colour I was able to send the message - even though it had exactly the same number of characters.
A previous problem I had concerned a reply I made to someone who had replied to my post. An error message told me that the title had a hyperlink in it (if I remember correctly) and yet it clearly didn't have a hyperlink in it and, in fact, it was the same title as my original post, but for the word 're:' added to the beginning.
What's going on with these problems as they are making life on this forum much more difficult these days?
Thanks. Simon.

Hi Simon,
I'm not aware of these problems (can't confirm or deny) with the Discussion Forum, but I have had trouble pasting highlighted VBScript code into the body of the message for years. I always use the "Insert Code" icon at the top of the message editor to pop up a code window and paste my code in there. Sadly, you lose all the nice color highlighting, but at least you can finish the post without issues.
Hope that helps,

Thanks Brad - I'll remember that tip.
