Report.Sheets.ExportToPDF - layout and images problem

Hello,

i got sheets in Report panel, some with landscape and some with portrait orientation. I got embedded images on the sheets as well.

When i export it to pdf using

Call Report.Sheets.ExportToPDF(sPDFExportFile, false)

The result is not perfect, because sheets with portrait orientation are not centered, and part of the page is cropped on the right side. As well pictures are not smooth but they are glitched. (2nd image attachement)

Is there a solution for this, im missing some setting for the PDF export.

Sheets with landscape orientation are centered well in output pdf, but have same problem with images.(1st image attachement)

Hello,

I checked this problem with DIAdem 2015 SP2 and the attached layout and the Example.TDM file. As you can see is the PDF OK. Please can you double-check it with these info's again?

Regarding a better print result you can switch on to print data as graphic. The advantage is the better print result; the disadvantage is a bigger PDF file size.

Hello,

i opened your PDF and its sharp and i can select text in it. How you created it and with which settings?

Beacause when i check the "print as graphics" i get what i checked, graphical pdf, where pdf reader cant select text, but in your document i can select text. For us its not usefull to have a pdf with pictures where i cant select nothing.

Perfect would be some 3. settings, normal printing, where i would have sharp graphics and can select text as well.

You created the noname.pdf by printing it by printer device(we got one creating pdfs), or calling sheets.exportToPDF or sheets.printAll ?

Hello,

If you use the PDF printer, which is installed by DIAdem, the print command is not the difference. In the end all command results in the same print command. But you are right, if you use the option to print as graphic, it is not possible to select a text in the PDF. The attached files above should show my test results which I got with DIAdem 2015 SP2.
