Hi all,
My task is to load two dat files.
Time channel is common in both the dat files. So keeping it as reference, How can i compare the rest channel values with each other??
Manually am doing,
1. Load 2 dat files from navigator
2. Copy all channels from dat file 2(except time channel) , to dat file 1
3. Delete the dat file 2 from data portal.
4. Now you have only 1group/1 channel with values of two different dat files and plot them on graph.
5. While plotting them on graph, x axis would be time(which is common) and y axis would be S1KNSLLE00H3DSZP and S1KNSLLE00H3DSZP of two different dat files.
How can i automate this. Any inputs on this?? Attached is the sample dat files

Hi Rash.patel,
I see no reason to rearrange the data channels. Data Portal Groups were created for exactly this sort of use-case, where you want to compare the same channel from multiple data files at the same time on the same graph. Just load the 2 *.dat files normally and drag the Time+Data channel pair from each Group onto the VIEW or REPORT graph. I'm enclosing an example VIEW layout that I believe does what you asked for without having to move any channels around.
