Hello,
I am facing a problem when I try to import an avl file (I use the plug in "AVL_IFILE"). I get the following error : unsupported offset correction algorithm ID:257
I think that this error comes from the measurement device configuration (defined on INDICOM (AVL)). I have also other avl files in which the zero correction offset is set to "thermodynamic" and I can import them. Could it be an explanation?
Thank you in advance
Jérémy

Hi Jeremy,
We will need an example of this type of data file in order to try to expand the DataPlugin. Please post it here or send it via email to me at brad.turpin@ni.com.

Hello,
If you change the zero correction offset in your file to "thermodynamic", can the file be opened without error?
And as Brad proposed it to you, could you post your file in order that anybody could test on his side?

Indeed, the plug in is working correctly with files in which the zero correction offset is set to thermodynamic.
But the point is that I have to work with files recorded with a zero correction offset based on intake manifold pressure.
As our files contain confidential engine parameters, I will try to modify them and send it to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support

If no error occurs when the zero correction offset is set to thermodynamic, it seems to indicate that the value set instead of "thermodynamic" is not supported or the file needs to have other parameters changed.
Maybe Brad will be able to give you more help if you post or send your file of course.

Hello,
here is a file that typically gives the kind of error described above.
Thank you for your support
Jérémy
By the way, you can find enclosed a screenshot of my DIAdem version.

Jeremy,
can you please confirm that the data returned when the zero correction offset is set to thermodynamic is as expected.
In this case we can change the DataPlugin accordingly.
Thanks
Stefan

Hello,
Indeed, the files that we used until now was with the thermodynamic zero offset correction and the plug in worked correctly with them.
Thank you

Hi Jeremy,
The new AVL_IFILE posted this morning-- give it a try!

Hello,
thank you very much for your quick reply and support. The plug in is working properly and we can import all our files, but the point is that some data groups that are visible on Concerto are missing in the data portal on DIAdem. For example, the group CA - Crank angle and the corresponding channels are not available in DIAdem. That is also the case for the group PAR - parameter, SYS - system information.
Would it be possible to extend the plug-in in such a way that we obtain exactly the same groups on an AVL software (here Concerto) and in DIAdem?
Thank you in advance
Jérémy
