validation of programs/autosequence

Hello

For my day to day testing work, I have written VBA program to automate all the post processing and report generation in Diadem. I have totally 8 tests. I will be using my program for all my further tests. I will be submitting the reports to our customers. Since we are a testing agency and I will be submitting the reports to our customers, do I need to get my programs 'validated' from some authority? If so from whom can i get it checked? What is the general procedure followed by my fellow programmers here?

Dear Ranjan,

there is no general validation procedure for DIAdem scripts. Depending on the given variety of input data you want to make sure that you apply an appropriate test coverage. Depending on the purpose of the reports you need to have the right domain knowledge to pick the right algorithms and visualization.

This is why National Instruments provides training courses for all of our products. In addition we can refer to alliance partners who would be able to assist with their knowledge in case you just started.
