Our next ALARM meeting is on December 9th at 6:30 pm. It will be held in rooms 415/417 of the UMC on the CU campus in Boulder.
Craig Eidson, LabVIEW Architect from Optimation Technology, will be giving a presentation on "XML in LabVIEW". LabVIEW offers several different libraries and add-ons for using this universally accessible file format. Craig will be covering different ways of using XML within LabVIEW as well as some of the pitfalls and challenges developers will face when working with this file type.
Steve Solga and Dave Thomson will talk about circular buffers. Dave will present an example of a data acquisition program he's working on that uses a custom built circular buffer based on a functional global with convenient accessor methods. Steve will then offer up a new idea for a short-cut to a high-performance circular buffer using lossy queues.
Please sign up with NI for this event so that we can get an accurate count for the pizza order.
