6534 - PG output mode - Conflict ack1or Pclk1 /Dig_block_out

I have to drive a 6534 for pattern generation in output mode.
External clock and triggering are used.
In order to trigger the data transfert to the driven hardware,  PCLK1 and PCLK2 are set to 1.
Then a DIG_Block_Out command is sent that results in the setting to 0 of PCLK1.  This commutation disables the data transfert.
The same problem occurs when using ACK1 instead of PCLK1.

For reception ACK2 and PCLK2 are used for triggering the input (instead of PCLK1 and PCLK2). This works.
That is when using DIG_Block_In, the lines are not affected.

Did I miss something ?

I would be grateful for any help.

Hello,

To use a NI 6534 in pattern generation with an external clock and a digital trigger, you don't have to use the PCLK pins. You must connect your clock (to clock the transfer of the patterns) to the REQ pin and the digital trigger to the ACK pin.

Are you sure that you use the pattern generation mode? Please precise me what is the mode that you are using so that I can understand what is the problem.

You will find the link to the NI 6534 User Manual where the different modes are described.

- "NI 653X User Manual"
