Hi folks,
i need an idea for analysing some digital lines over and over again.
The task: An engine is runnig at 180RPM and i have to check the timing of signals for fuelpump, ignition and so on.
So i have 5,5ms time to aquire eight digital lines with a resoution of about 0,3us. In fact it's a kind of logic-analyser.
I don't think that i can reach this rate just by polling I/O-Lines using LabView (Standard PC/Win). And i have to process the result too (store to file, check, ...). The test runs maybe daiys and no cycle should be lost.
My plan is to aquire one cycle (16k Samples * 8 lines) in hardware and dump the samples to LabView after the cycle is done. While the hardware starts to aquire a new cycle i should have time enough to play arount with the samples.
Any hints which hardware (or Software ??) to use?
