Buffered pattern i/o

Using the buffered pattern output VI, why can't I simply replace the part of the program that is generating data with an array with my own data. When I attempt to do this, the on board memory buffer doesn't iterate. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,

Are you using one of the DAQmx examples? Which example are you using?

What exactly are you seeing? Does it output the data only once and not repeat? Or does it not output any patterns?

It would be nice to see your version of the changed example so we can see exactly what you are doing.
