Configure C Module Without Chassis

I'm just wondering if there's any possibility to configure or
Read/Write in C Modules alone,, without using CDAQ or CRIO chassiss..??

 I think that the only way to use National Instruments modules is on a chassis.} You can try with an one slot chassis.
