Error 50204 for Self-Test of the PCI-5122 Card

Hi,

I've had a problem with my PCI-5122 Card ever since i installed Labview 8
I was running on labview 7.1 for the longest time, with no problems.
As soon as I installed labview 8, the card stopped working, and had an X icon on it in the MAX program. I couldn't even try a self-test, it was disabled.

I then uninstalled every labview program, and reinstalled labview 8. Now, this is what i have (see attachment)

anyone know how i could solve this problem?

Thanks
aleks.

Hello aleks,

When you installed LabVIEW 8.0 did you reinstall the driver for the PCI-5122? By default, the driver will install for all the supported versions of LabVIEW which it finds on the computer when the setup.exe program runs. However, if you upgrade to a newer version of LabVIEW later, you will need to reinstall your driver to add support for this new version.

The PCI-5122 uses NI-Scope. The latest version of NI-Scope (version 3.3) is available to download for free here. The NI-SCOPE 3.3 Readme file provides instructions for Installing, Uninstalling or Modifying the driver. Follow those steps and NI-Scope should install support for LabVIEW 8.0.
