How can I tell in software when a stop trigger has been receieved for continuous pattern input on a 653x

When using a DAQ board there is a boolean flag that is set to indicate that an aquisition is no longer in process. Is there similiar functionality for the digital I/O cards?

I'm assuming you're talking about the "retrieval complete" output of the AI Read VI that is used for analog input acquisition. There is a similar flag output from the DIO Read VI that you can use with digital input acquisition. The DIO Read VI is used in the Cont Pattern Input VI which is a shipping example in LabVIEW that can be used with NI 653x devices. I hope this helps.
