How do I do to set a port as two 4-bit I/O ports with LAB-PC-1200/AI?

My user manual say that in Mode 0 port C (with the Lab-PC-1200) is considered to be two 4-bit I/O ports.
How can I do to set this function in LabView?

Unfortunately, you will be unable to accomplish this in LabVIEW. This operation is not supported by the data acquisition driver. NI-DAQ will generate an error when trying to configure port C as two 4-bit ports. While NI-DAQ does not support this function, it is possible to use register-level programming. Application Note 131 includes sample register level programming code that will accomplish this task.
