Sorry for such a delayed reply. Before I was under the assumption that the DAQmx_Val_WhenAcqComplete property was definitely available to use, but in fact it is not in this case. I was told that because you are doing a finite acquisition, the device automatically waits until all the samples are acquired before transferring the data. This would make using the property unnecessary. I'm still trying to come up with a way to test this out, possibly by viewing the buffer during a finite acquisition and seeing when the data is transferred. I'll let you know what I find out.
