Hi,
I have UNIQ 1000CL camera. I drive it using NI-IMAC 1428.
I want to grab and store the images to my system using LabView.
I neither have Vision or Measurement Studio.
Is this possible ?

or are there any free 3rd party software for this purpose ??
Somebody plz help ...

Hello karthik3k,

Thank you for using our discussion forum. Yes, you can acquire and save images in LabVIEW without having IMAQ Vision, the only additional software you need is NI-IMAQ. NI-IMAQ are drivers for the image acquisition devices and are available for free download from our website.

Once you install NI-IMAQ, you can configure your camera in Measurement and Automation Explorer. 

Also refer to NI-IMAQ shipping examples for more information. NI-IMAQ includes examples that demonstrate how to perform a grab in LabVIEW and how to save acquired images. I hope this helps you out. Have a great day!
