Hello JHCH,

thank you for posting at the National Instruments forum. For accessing National Instruments Hardware from Matlab, TheMathWorks offers the "Data Acquisition Toolbox":

Unfortunately, this release of the toolbox does not support the NI PCI-5102. TheMathWorks gives you the possibility to request for additional hardware support at the bottom of the page.

For installing your device in your computer, you need the "NI-SCOPE" driver. Have you installed this? I heard, that it could be possible to integrate the "niscope_32.dll" in your Matlab-programm for accessing your device. But I have neither experience with this, nor am I able to give you further support / directions on this.
