No timer on revH of PCI-DIO-96

OK, thanks for the info.

Granted the application is older, and we use register level programming to pass data back and forth, but still, we didn't have any idea that the timer was going bye-bye.  We'll be getting a few of these boards as backup/expansion boards.

Sorry for the lack of warning.  We did investigate to see if we could send out a customer notification letter to known 8253 users, but didn't have any known users.  Ordering 779196-50 from now on should take care of you though, and I will work with the applications engineering department to create a knowledgebase about the 82C53 on the PCI-DIO-96 and link it to the KB that is online about the 8255.  Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help get you set up and running with additional boards for your existing application.
